Grape gin made with Garnacha spirit
For decades, grain-based gin was the standard. At Vínica, however, we decided to look closer to home, towards our own land. What we found were our vineyards. And that led us to one simple question: why not create a grape gin?
The base that defines a premium gin
Unlike traditional spirits, our base comes from Garnacha grapes grown by the members of Alcoholera de Aragón. Speaking about a Garnacha gin is not a marketing claim for us; it is our reality and one of the projects we feel most proud of. We wanted the very first drop of this spirit to begin in the same soil we walk every day.
The result is a gin with a completely different structure: more aromatic, smoother on the palate and designed to elevate the juniper rather than compete against it. A circular and fascinating process that is winning over true lovers of premium gin.
Botanical by botanical
To achieve this experience, we selected 12 botanicals that are cold macerated. This technique prevents heat from altering their nuances, allowing us to refine the distillate and maintain a clean aromatic profile, removing anything that could interfere with the tasting experience.
A different way to understand gin and tonic
Grape gin is not entirely new, but it has become one of the most interesting ways to rediscover a good gin and tonic. One perfect occasion to enjoy it was during the Cariñena Divino Festival, where wine stands at the centre of the celebration. Music, gastronomy and local culture came together in an atmosphere where Vínica became one of the premium gin brands most closely connected to the spirit of the festival.

Destilerías San Valero is a cooperative with more than seven decades of history in Aragón. Our grape gin is born from that experience, from a deep understanding of the territory and the behaviour of its main ingredient.
