Discover the essence of Vínica premium gin

Some gins enter through the senses, others through the label. The experience we offer with Vínica premium gin begins much earlier: in the vineyard, through the botanicals, the juniper and the citrus, before finally becoming part of long conversations around the table. But before everything else, there is Garnacha.
What makes Vínica different in a tasting
Vínica premium gin is made from Aragonese Grenache wine, not from neutral grain alcohol.
This wine base changes the behaviour of the gin in a tasting: the texture is silkier, the alcohol is better integrated and the aromas evolve in a cleaner, more progressive way.
The Grenache does not bring an obvious wine flavour. What it creates is more of an aromatic balance and a rounder mouthfeel than in many traditional dry gins.
The aroma
The aroma is one of the areas where the difference between Vínica premium gin and a traditional gin is most clearly perceived. The main reason lies in the base of the distillate, which uses Aragonese Grenache wine alcohol instead of neutral grain alcohol.

The juniper appears well integrated, without an aggressive alcoholic sensation, and the botanicals are perceived in a balanced way. This is what we define as a “smooth and distinguished” gin, particularly well suited to the aromatic phase of the tasting.
The texture
Texture is one of the most distinctive elements of Vínica premium gin compared to other gins made from neutral grain alcohol. The use of Grenache alcohol from our land is precisely what provides that smooth sensation on the palate that characterises our brand.
Vínica also maintains its 41.5% vol., but with a more balanced alcohol integration thanks to its cold maceration and redistillation process.

What Garnacha brings to the tasting
The main difference of the premium gin we offer at Vínica lies in its origin: it is made from Aragonese Grenache wine alcohol, not from neutral grain alcohol.
The wine origin directly influences the sensory profile of our gin. Furthermore, serving it in a wine glass as part of the Vintonic ritual reinforces the connection between the Grenache and the after-dinner drinking experience.
How it evolves in the glass
During the first few minutes, the following stand out:
- Citrus.
- Freshness.
- Clean juniper.
The dilution does not break the structure. On the contrary, the gin gains complexity and maintains balance even after several minutes.
This is why it works especially well in Vintonic format and does not need excessive garnish or overpowering tonics.

Vínica premium gin proves that our Aragonese distillery can still do something truly different within the premium sector: a gin made with Aragonese Grenache wine, twelve local botanicals and artisan production in Cariñena.
